Another Drunk Airline Passenger Had to Be Duct Taped to Their Seat
You’d think airlines would have figured out a better solution by now, but here we are.
Ever since COVID, airlines have struggled to deal with what we’ll charitably call “the passenger problem.” While it’s pretty easy to sell enough tickets to get butts into seats, it’s hard to ensure that the people *with* those butts will behave themselves throughout the duration of the flight.
And passengers, it turns out, really can’t behave themselves. We’ve seen passengers fight, refuse to deplane and a helluva lot more, and in response, some airlines have taken to duct taping unruly passengers.
Now, well, it’s happened again! How great.
